Full Throttle Radio came to life back in 2003 when DJ Mister Vince approached Fatman Scoop about doing a Radio Show together. The two already had a working relationship, with them both having had prior employment at Tommy Boy records. Also, as a nightclub promoter in the late 90’s & the 2000’s, Vince often booked Fatman Scoop to perform at his venues. The concept & the chemistry for the show was right. So the rest was history. Mister Vince rocked the beats while Fatman Scoop kept the audience entertained with his signature style and voice. Over the last 21 years a lot of history was made as Scoop & Vince continued time and time again to bring the party to your radio. One side note that most people don’t know, is that Full Throttle is partly responsible for the creation of the hit song “Lose Control”, by Missy Elliot, Ciara & Fatman Scoop. A rescheduled interview with Ciara, caused both Scoop and Vince to end up in the Studio with Ciara at the exact time that “Lose Control” was being written and recorded. What started as a radio interview, ended up being the birth of the Grammy Award winning record! Full Throttle Radio has made history both on and off the air! Over the years, Scoop and Vince developed a strong friendship. At times touring the world together as performer and DJ! Unfortunately ,The legendary Fatman Scoop passed away unexpectedly on Aug 30th 2024. This came as a shock to everyone of Scoops fans and followers. But especially to the people that knew him best. DJ Mister Vince continues to mix and produce the Full Throttle Radio show in memory of his longtime co-host Fatman Scoop. He has said that nothing will ever replace Scoop’s amazing energy and charismatic sense of humor. But Vince has relied on all of his years of experience in the music industry, to continue to consistently deliver the absolute best 3 hour Mixshow on Radio.
